In an effort to get better at using pen and ink, I turned to one of my favorite pen and ink artists, Aubrey Beardsley. I like to practice by trying to copy a work that I really admire. So, I chose Beardsley’s picture of “Moska”. It’s one of his simpler and less elaborate pieces, but that’s good for practice… gotta be reasonable with my goals! 😛 Anyways, I like how it turned out, but I still wish for those super thin lines! I wonder if it’s a different kind of nib? Or maybe the original is much bigger than pictured?
